Work in pairs. Make requests and response using the following prompts. Use different structures.

Example:

 Ritu: Would you mind opening the window, please?

Bina: Sure. That’s no problem at all.

Making Offer (Page-190)

Structure: 

a) Would you like to +v1…..?

Example- Shall I help you cleaning the windows?

What would you say in each of the situations below?

a) A tourist in your town looks lost. Offer to help her.

b) You see an old lady trying to lift a heavy bag.

c) Your teacher says that it’s hot in the classroom. You are closer to the window.
