The poem ‘Every Morning I Wake’ is a request to god to protect common people from earth sufferings. So, the poem is a prayer to almighty God. Human beings are playing to God to get mercy on them. The speaker is a common man. Human beings are mortal but God is immortal. As a devotee of God, the speaker can assume the magnificence and glory of god. . Grod is supreme with immense power . Every morning the speaker is making prayer to god for protection of every creature. The speaker is concerned about the welfare of all the creatures on the earth. God is Controlling every- creature. He is the only one creator as well as destroyer.
Human beings are born to die. But God can make our life brighter and beautiful. Before sleeping, the speaker gives thanks to god for making his day beautiful. He is uncertain about his tomorrow morning. He can only rely upon gad for his further life and future.
God can evaluate our good as well as bad deeds. Human beings can’t decide their future or deeds.
At last, the speaker says good bye to god before going to bed because he is uncertain about his tomorrow morning. The poem presents the theme of human beings love to god. Human beings should love and respect god for his grace and selfless love towards human beings.
