Tip: Give short but complete answers. Avoid answering with only one word.
PART 2 – Listen and Answer (Longer)
(20 sec per answer • 4 questions)
You have 20 seconds for each answer. Give a fuller response with a reason or example.
- What is your favourite hobby?
- Tell me about your best friend.
- What kind of music do you enjoy listening to?
- Describe your hometown.

Tip: Use words such as because, also, and for example to make longer answers.
PART 3 – Read Aloud
(10 sec per sentence • 4 sentences)
Read each sentence out loud. The app checks pronunciation and punctuation handling.
- The doctor will see the patient at ten o’clock tomorrow morning.
- Please remember to bring your identification card to the meeting.
- My supervisor, Anita, works in the administration department.
- Can you tell me where the nearest pharmacy is located?
Tip: Speak naturally and pause briefly at commas.
PART 4 – Read Aloud (Extended)
(10 sec per sentence • 4 sentences)
Same format as Part 3, with slightly more complex sentences.
- Even though the weather was rainy, the staff arrived at work on time.
- Visitors who wish to enter the building must register at the reception desk.
- The company plans to introduce a new training programme next year.
- If you have any questions about the schedule, please contact the office manager.
Tip: Focus on clear pronunciation rather than speaking quickly.
PART 5 – Leave a Message
(40 sec to prepare • at least 1 min to speak)
Read the notes below. Prepare for 40 seconds, then leave a voice message of at least one minute.
Situation
Your manager has asked you to contact Bright Medical Supplies regarding an equipment order.
You are calling to leave a message for the customer service department.
In Your Message:
• Say who you are and where you work.
• Explain which items you would like to order.
• Ask about the availability of the items.
• Ask about delivery charges and delivery date.
• Leave your contact number and preferred callback time.
Tip
Organize your message into three parts:
- Introduction
- Order details
- Contact information
Use linking words such as first, also, in addition, and finally.
