- Speaker/Sender
The person who generates and sends the idea is the speaker. The speaker uses verbal or non-verbal method to send the message.
- Message
The most important thing is the message. The speaker conveys the message to the audience.
- Channel/Medium
It is the way to send the message.
- Listener/Receiver
The person who receives the message is listener. The speaker sends his/her message to the listener.
- Feedback
In oral communication, sender can receive the feedback of the audience. Feedback helps to know whether the message is conveyed or not.
- Interference
It is related with communication barriers like noise.
- Situation
It is necessary to understand the situation for effective communication. Place, time, environment, surroundings, etc are important components for proper communication.
