1. OPENING
Purpose: Introduce yourself and explain why you are calling.
What to include:
- Greeting
- Your name
- Reason for calling
Useful phrases:

Example:
Hello, this is Dipak Wagle. I’m calling about the sports club trip next month.

2. POINT 1
Purpose: Answer the first bullet point in the task.
What to do:
- Give one or two clear sentences.
- Don’t give too many details.

Answer:
I would like to know how much the trip costs. Could you tell me if there are any discounts for students?
Another example:
I’m interested in joining the course. Could you tell me the registration fee?

3. POINT 2
Purpose: Answer the second bullet point.
What to do:
- Use a linker to connect your ideas.
- Give one or two sentences.

Also, I would like to know what time the classes start and finish.
Another example:

Why use linkers?
They make your speech sound organized and natural.
4. POINT 3
Purpose: Answer the third bullet point.
What to do:
- Use another linker.
- Give one or two clear sentences.
Example task bullet:
“Ask about equipment.”
Answer:
Furthermore, do I need to bring any special equipment for the trip?

5. CLOSING
Purpose: Finish the message politely and say what you want next.

This structure is easy to remember:
Opening → Point 1 → Also → Point 2 → Furthermore → Point 3 → Closing
If you use this pattern in every Part 5 task, you’ll usually speak for 50–70 seconds, which is ideal for a B1 candidate.
